Our engaging and interactive program is designed to teach students the art of blood collection in a fun and supportive environment.

Our experienced instructors will guide you through the comprehensive curriculum, which includes:

• Anatomy and physiology: Understand the human body’s structures and functions, including the circulatory system and the blood vessels.
• Medical terminology: Learn the language of medicine and how to communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Infection control: Understand the importance of hygiene and sterilization to prevent infections and promote patient safety.
• Blood collection procedures: Learn the proper techniques and procedures for the following blood collection methods:
  • Venipuncture: Collecting blood from a vein, typically in the arm or hand.
  • Capillary puncture: Collecting blood from a small prick on the finger or heel.
  • Blood culture collection: Collecting blood for testing for bacterial or fungal infections.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice, so you can feel confident in your skills when you enter the workforce.
